I’ve been making music since I was a child, and taught myself the piano, developing a passion for songwriting.
This became my early career and I toured with my own band performing across the UK at Ronnie Scotts, Glastonbury and other International Festivals.
Having a love of cultures and travel I lived and worked in Hong Kong as a composer for The Media Bank for some years until I had my family.
I trained to become a music educator in 2009 and was Head of Vocals/ Keyboards at Access to Music, Brighton and developed their summer school programme.
With over 25 years of experience in the music industry, I have worked on projects ranging from tour management, studio production, programme design and delivery and business development.
I have a expansive network ranging music producers to arts organisations and love finding musical solutions for people.
This is me back in the day with the incredible Yoko Ono & George Martin at The PRS John Lennon Songwriting Award.
Yoko was so lovely and said she was pleased a young women had received it.
2023 stats are showing us we have a massive gender gap in the music industry. Women are leaving the industry through lack of financial security and equality issues.
I support Women In Control as an initiative to bridge this gap.
